I am lucky to have grown up around my two cousins Laney and Jake.
I used to always get jealous of the massive families and my friends who have multiple cousins but I began to love only having 2 cousins. Having a small family is just as fun!!
Laney is the cousin I am closest too, I mainly think because we are closest in age. When I was a freshman, she was a senior – throughout college and high school. Freshman year of high school she drove me to school everyday and then I was soon able to visit her in college and tag along to parties.
Growing up we have gone to the beach together every year, celebrated every birthday together and countless of memories. I will always cherish having one of my best friends be my cousin
