Best Bars in Nashville

Nashville is a city known for its lively music and nightlife, so it’s no surprise that it’s home to some of the best bars in the country. Whether you’re looking for a dive bar, rooftop bar, or swanky cocktail lounge, Nashville has something to offer every type of drinker. To help narrow down your choices, here are five of the best bars in Nashville:

Best Bars in Nashville

Tootsies

When you’re walking on Broadway, if you see the purple building, go in!! Tootsies are always a good time no matter if it’s 11 am or 11 pm. When you walk in you will be very confused as to why people told you to go there. The best advice I can give you is to keep going up the stairs! (Take this advice with any bar you go to in Nashville). You may get caught up on the first floor because you hear a good song – but the rooftop is always the place to go. Get up close to the stage and you will feel like you are at a Morgan Wallen concert but really you’re just in Tootsies.

Kid rocks

Kid Rock is the bar on the corner of Broadway that is always packed from morning to night. It is a great place if you want to get up at the bar and dance or sit down at a table and listen to music while eating lunch. Kid Rock is the bar that everyone will tell you to go to and I back that up – it is my favorite.

Jason Aldean’s

If you’re looking for a younger crowd and club music at night, Jason Aldean’s is the place to go. During the day, the rooftop plays great music and gives you an amazing view of Broadway. At night, there normally isn’t a live band, it is where all the college kids go for good club music. Personally, I like a live band but this bar definitely gives you a break from that and a chance to hit the dance floor!

Nudies

I think Nudies is the best place to go for your first drink of the day. It is not as crowded as the other bars but will always have a great band playing downstairs and make your way up to the rooftop for some fresh air and great views. I like the downstairs portion a lot because the bar is huge and there is always room to stand in front of the stage to dance and sing. The rooftop at night gets a little rowdy and becomes a massive dance floor, which is super fun.

Honky Tonk Central

Another bar that will stick out to you on the corner when walking down broadway. The windows are open all around the bar on each level where you can sit there with a drink while listening to music and looking out at broadway. This bar is so much fun because there are multiple levels to go to with different bands. The first level is always where the most popular band is but it’s always great to go up to another level to grab some appetizers and listen to music!
