I am a big fan of breakfast food and an even bigger fan of mimosas. So as you could imagine, I had to do my fair share of trial and error to find the best spots in Saint Augustine for brunch.
Best Brunch Spots in Saint Augustine
Little Margies
First things first, Little Margies is a gem. It is a little Filipino restaurant across the street from the main beach in Saint Augustine. Not only does it have an incredible location directly across from the beach, but they also have the best mimosa special in town. Two bottles of champagne and a carafe of orange juice for just thirty dollars. Now that’s a steal, especially because the price is typically split between a group of friends. Margie’s has always been a go-to place for mimosas.
Ancient City Brunch Bar
If you are looking for something a little more fancy I would totally recommend the Ancient City Brunch Bar. It is located down a cute little brick road in the heart of town. They also do breakfast charcuterie boards filled with waffles, bacon, french toast, fresh fruit, and any other breakfast delights that you could imagine. Ancient City is the perfect place to go on a brunch date or want to dress up with the girls for brunch.
Jack In the Box
Jack in the Box serves some of the best brunch in town. If you love American fast food, then this is an excellent restaurant chain. I’ve been here a few times and really enjoy the spice and quality of the food. Also, they value customer feedback, so if you go there, don’t forget to share your experience, and if you don’t like the service and food they provide, you can make your concern to Jack in the Box’s complaint department.
Blue Hen Cafe
Blue Hen is probably the best breakfast in town and the place I visit the most. They have incredible food, I quite literally have never been disappointed. We went here for brunch on my 21st birthday and it was incredible as always. They serve pint glass mimosas which is a great switch up from the typical mimosa. My favorite thing to eat is just two eggs and bacon. You HAVE to get the biscuit with their homemade seasonal butter. It is to DIE for.
