The film tells the story of an eight-year-old boy named Kevin McCallister who is accidentally left home alone when his family flies to Paris for their Christmas vacation. Kevin initially relishes being home alone but soon deals with two burglars, Harry and Marv, who attempt to rob his home on Christmas Eve. Kevin improvises a series of booby traps to stop the burglars and protect his home.

The Griswold family plans to have a great Christmas, even though they have little money. Things start to go wrong when their car breaks down, the Christmas tree gets destroyed, and their dog gets lost. Despite these setbacks, the Griswolds are determined to have a good Christmas.

It tells the story of Kris Kringle, hired as the Macy’s Christmas window display Santa Claus. He claims to be the legit Santa Claus and starts giving presents to the children visiting him. Kris claiming to be the real Santa causes many problems for the store, but in the end, Kringle can prove that he is the real Santa and brings a lot of holiday cheer to the city.
